Ric Sandler is a Philadelphia-born musician, songwriter, and producer whose career began before age 7. By 15, his band was sharing stages with legends like Lloyd Price, The Soul Survivors, and The Rascals. He later signed a publishing deal in Los Angeles and went on to write for artists including Dionne Warwick (Grammy-nominated), Anne Murray, Jermaine Jackson, and The Dixie Hummingbirds. As a session player, Ric worked with Jim Gordon, Hal Blaine, Larry Carlton, and the Porcaro Brothers, and toured with Tanya Tucker and Chuck Berry. He has scored for Hollywood, including the Warner Bros./Ralph Bakshi cult classic Hey Good Lookin’, and fronted RHYTHM UNDER GROUND, which landed two U.S. Top 20 Adult Contemporary hits. Now based in Nashville, Ric continues to write, teach, and produce. His recent work includes the albums Chaos & Clarity and Voice of Erin, with songs reaching No.1 on iTunes and placements on Netflix’s Virgin River. Alongside his extensive career, he remains dedicated to mentoring musicians, blending his classical training with real-world experience.
